Toy Story is a 1995 American computer-animated family film directed by John Lasseter and featuring the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen. The film was co-produced by Ralph Guggenheim and Bonnie Arnold and was distributed by Buena Vista Distribution. It was written by Joss Whedon, Andrew Stanton, Joel Cohen, and Alec Sokolow, and featured music by Randy Newman. It was the first feature film released to use only computer-generated imagery. Toy Story's plot is about a little boy's toys coming to life whenever he's not there. It follows a toy cowboy who becomes jealous as an astronaut action figure becomes the favorite toy of their owner.
